Background: The Organisation was moving its entire production processes from the UK centre to China and other Far East locations over a 21 month period. Of the 425 employees due to leave, over half were not expected to leave until 12 to 18 months time – a long time to maintain engagement and motivation before departure
Support: Working Transitions designed and delivered a highly flexible range of outplacement services to provide to leavers. Each individual was fully equipped to hit the job market at least 3 months before their departure. Our expert coaches designed a new one day workshop called the “Can Do” programme. This was delivered to all of the employees who would be waiting more than 12 months to depart from the initial announcement date
Outcome: Consistently outstanding feedback from the outplacement programme. A settlement rate of 97% against difficult job market conditions. Feedback from the “Can Do” programme was unanimously excellent and senior management and the HR team were also extremely pleased with the outcomes.
